We spent today going to the waterpark with my friend Christy and her 2 kids and their cousin. We had a great time. This is a waterpark in Gainesville and it is absolutely wonderful. It is inexpensive and a great way to spend the day. The kids had a wonderful time and we plan to go back once a week for the next few weeks until school starts. Addison is so excited. And please excuse the last picture...what 5 kids look like after playing all day in the sun and water!

Sleepover!

Addison is no stranger to sleepovers. She spends that night with my mom often and has spent the night with a friend of mine a few times, but she had her first sleepover at our house last night. My cousins little girl, Josie spent Tuesday night with us. The girls had a great time. We spent Tuesday running a few errands and then back at the house. We went on a walk, played on our swing set, with our dog, Hooper, and I think that they took out every toy in the playroom.

Busy Day

We had a very busy day today. We started the day with my dad coming to town to help me do a few things around the house. As soon as he left we head out to run a bunch of errands that I needed to do. From there we went to gymnastics, then to get our ballet recital pictures taken, to Chick-fil-a for dinner, and then to our first day of swimming lessons.

Last Day of Ballet

Today was Addison's last day of ballet class so my friend, Lisa and I decided to have a little party for all the children in the class. Well, most people did not show up for class so the party was small, but we ate outside and they had a blast. The top picture is of Addison and Lisa's daughter Isabella, who Addison loves to play with. The bottom picture is another child in their class, Adaline.

Play Date

Today we went to Atlanta and met a friend of mine who is watching her sisters kids for the day. We went to the park and then to their house. Addison had a great time at the park. It was actually a really good park and one that I will need to remember and tell my mom about because it is not far from her house. We then went to their house and after spending some time inside we went outside where the kids played with power wheels for what seemed like hours! Addison drive McClain around while Griffin and Grady drove as well.

Wedding Shower

Today we went to a good friend of mine's wedding shower. She is also a good friend of mine as well as Addison's babysitter. We are both in her wedding in July. Addison is so excited. We talk about it all the time, but we will see whether she really walks down the aisle when it comes time.

Last Day of Awana

Addison spent every Wednesday night going to Awana with her friend, Lucy. Addison looked forward to this every week. This is a picture from her last night. They got awards and had an icecream party. She has a blast!

Hair...

Addison's hair is finally getting a little longer and so we tried doing something a little different besides just putting a bow in it. Here is the result. She loved it!

Happy Mother's Day!

We went to meet my mom and brothers at the Mall of Ga for lunch today. After a very busy weekend, it was a nice relaxing end. The top picture is from Publix. We happened to stop there on the way back from the mall and they let Addison decorate a cake for me for Mother's Day. I ended up taking it to work that night and it was actually really good!

Believe it or not I am actually keeping up to date with my blog today and posting something on the day that it occured. I figured that this week is going to be a busy week with an egg hunt tomorrow and Friday and then of course Easter this weekend. I didn't want to get to far behind.

We went to a festival today that Addison's school was invited to. It was put on by Zaxbys and for a few dollars we were able to eat whatever we wanted and play games. The only thing that cost extra was A Zaxbys sandwich...which Addison won!

First Black Eye

This is not a great picture of her black eye, but it is the only picture that I have. She hit herself in the eye with the corner of a hard back book. I kept calling it a black eye, but she kept calling it a "pink eye" since that it the color it looked to her.

Addison and I took a short trip to Disney World last week. A good friend of mine was running in the Princess Half Marathon and she invited us to go along. We had a great time. Addison and I went to Disney World last April and Addison has been talking about it ever since. Although she has no problems with any of the rides, her favorite part is seeing the characters.

Busy Day

Tuesday is Addison's day off school so we usually spend the day together and I let Addison decide what she wants to do. Well, today was full of errands and appointments. We started the day with someone coming to look at our house then Addison had a dentist appt. It went alright I guess. She didn't want to sit in the chair so she sat in my lap and then she didn't want the hygentist to brush her teeth, but flossing was fine. We then went to Addison's choice for lunch...Chick-l-a as she would say. Then we had to run home and get one of our cats for a vet appt. We took her and got the car washed then ran home dropped off the cat and changed for gymnastics. We then went to gymnastics, ran to the grocery store, and then Addison wanted pizza for dinner and I gave in since Tuesday is $5 pizza day. Here are a few pics from the day.

Circus

Today we went to the circus. This was the first time that Addison had been to the circus and she was so excited. I think that her favorite part was the elephants and tigers. We went to the circus the day after the zebra was found wondering on the downtown freeway in rush hour traffic. Addison thought that that was funny that an animal got "out of the circus." Addison had a great time at the circus and continues to talk about it. She was so excited that her friends Bryce, Reece, Lucy, Bowen, Jayce, and Redden were able to come with us. We went to Steak-n-Shake after to have lunch.
