Grandpa's 60th birthday Party

Although my dad's birthday was last month, we had a huge birthday party for him this past weekend. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing some family and friends that we had not seen in a long time. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, the lens on my camera stopped working shortly after we for there so most of my pictures are dark.

Swim Diva

We went swimming today with my friend Julie and her kids. Addison and I had a great time. I have a water baby on my hands. She absolutely loves it!! I spent all day at the pool and was exhausted and then had to go to work all night. I was about dead by 7am. Swimming all by herself...with the help of her life vest off course.

Picking Strawberries

Today we went to Washington Farms with Christy, Bryce, and Reece. It was lots of fun and the kids had a great time, but I think that we just might have picked the hottest day of the summer so far. I think that Addison ate more strawberries than she picked.

Happy 60th Grandpa!

Today was my dads 60th birthday. We went to Atlanta and spent some time with him. We went over to his house and spent some time outside around the pool. I think that Addison would have jumped in if she could, but we did not really have time for that. We then went and met my brothers to eat dinner.

Memorial Day

I had to work Saturday and Sunday night, so Addison spent the weekend with my mom. I slept for a few hours Monday and then drove to Atlanta to have dinner. We were able to cook out and had a good time. Soon I will not be working all weekends, so I will have time to do a few other things on holidays.

Baby Emory

This is one of Addison's babysitters little boy. Addison loves when she comes to babysit and always asks about Baby Emory when he is not around. He was up when I got home this morning, so I took him into Addison's room and let him help me wake Addison up. She thought it was funny!

Walt Disney World

We took out first trip to Disney, or should I say Addison's first trip. She had the best time. I of course cannot put all the pictures that we took as I took a couple hundred, but here are a few. Addison did great. She loved the characters and most of all the princesses. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Rafiki, Chip & Dale, Tigger, Eyeore, Piglet, Pooh, Leo & June from the Little Einsteins, JoJo and Golith from JoJo's circus, Buzz Lightyear, Mary Poppins, the Mad Hater, Alice in Wonderland, the Green Army man from Toy Story, the Yellow Power ranger, Keteli, Stitch, and then of course the princesses...Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella. Ariel, or "The Little Mermaid" as Addison says, is her favorite!

Mother's Day 2009

Since I work weekends I was at work Sunday, so we celebrated Saturday afternoon. We took my mom to lunch and had a great time. As you can tell from this picture, Addison absolutely loves here Uncle.

Bryce and Reece's Birthday Party

We went to Chuckee Cheese for my friends 2 children's birthday party. Bryce turned 5 and Reece 3. Addison usually does not like Chuckee Cheese, but she had a great time. She even liked the rides. This made my happy since we are leaving for Disney World in a few days. She did not like Chuckee though, so lets hope she likes the Disney characters!

Gymnastics

Addison took Gymnastics this Spring at Bishop Park. She absolutely loved it and could not wait to go every week. She started out at the beginning being very shy, but as you can tell from these pictures, by the last class she was very comfortable. They don't offer classes over the summer, but I cannot wait to start her back in August.

Egg Hunt #4

This hunt was at my mom's house. My brother wanted to have a hunt for her and she loved it! Of course, I made the eggs and I went a little overboard, but she loved it! I work Sat and Sun nights, so I sleep the majority of the day on Sundays, so we pretended as if the Easter bunny came on Friday night so when she got up Sat she thought that Easter bunny had come and brought her basket. (Probably not going to be able to do this for much longer!)

Hunt #5 was at my Dad's house on Sunday. My brother was suppose to take the camera, but forgot. I am sure that there are some pictures somewhere, but not any that I have.

Egg Hunt #3

This was Addison's 3rd egg hunt. It was at her school. She does not go on Friday's and of course the hunt was on Friday, so I took her. Of course, I did not realize that the egg hunt was at 9am and the party at 2pm. So, we went in the morning straight out of bed and then ran some errands and went home to freshen up, then went back for the party. She had a great time!

Egg Hunt #2

I had an Easter party at my house. We had all Addison's friends and it was great! How cute is that cake! We dyed easter eggs, played, and had an easter egg hunt. The kids had a great time.

The only down fall was that I of course planned it on the coldest day of the week. It was like 45 degrees and very windy. The rest of the week was 65 and sunny. Oh well, that is just my luck!

Egg Hunt #1

Addison went to a total of 5 easter egg hunts. This one is at a friend of mine's house. It was a quick hunt as it started to rain right after we started, but she had a great time!

Babyland General

Today we went to Babyland General in Cleveland, Ga. For those of you that don't know...this is the "Cabbage Patch Kids" hospital. It is really cute. They have areas set up with Cabbage Patch kids and then there is a place where they are "born." Of course, my mom bought Addison a baby and we watched it be born. It was cute and Addison got to pick the hair and eye color as well as the babys name. They then gave the baby a physical and dressed her.
