JJ's Birthday Party

We went to JJ's 4th birthday party today. Addison had a great time. It happened to be at the same place that Addison goes to gymnastics, so she was familiar with it all. This first picture is her running and jumping on the spring board and then onto the mat, of course with help from Miss Lori.
Another one of her favorites...the trampoline. I may have to buy her one for her birthday!

A quick group picture.

Look at my little cheese. This is how she smiles when she is asked to "say cheese." We just may have to have her birthday party here as well this year!

Mall of Ga Trip

Christy and I decided to take a day and go to the Mall of Ga with the kids. Addison rode the carousel for the first time ever. It was an experience. At first she did not want to kid, so we sat in one of the chairs that doesn't move and just watched Christy, Bryce, and Reece. Then, of course, as the ride was almost over she decided that she wanted to ride. She did and loved it and did not want to get off when it was over. I hope that this is not a foresight into how things are going to be at Disney. Hopefully she will like them all from the beginning!

We let the kids play on the little rides while we ate lunch. The kids of course were too busy playing and did not want to eat anything that we got them.

Bishop Park

We went to Bishop Park tonight for a picnic and to play with JJ and meet some of his friends. We had a great time and hope that it will become a weekly thing once it gets warmer outside. Addison absolutely loves to go to the park and play. She would probably spend all day every day there if she could.

Snow Day #2

With 6 inches of snow that fell, there was of course snow still on the ground Tuesday. So, we of course again spent a few hours playing outside.

Addison's attempt at a snow angel.

Although our snowman from the day before was stilll standing, Addison wanted to make another one.

Snow Day #1

After working a 16 hour shift, I headed to Atlanta to pick up Addison and turned around and came right back to Athens. It was not easy staying up all day, so we spent a good part of the day outside in the snow. Addison absolutely loved it. In fact, since she did not really know what snow was since it did not stick in Atlanta, she was very excited when we pulled up at the house and she saw all the snow. In fact, I think that her words were something like...Oh, Mom, Thank you so much, thank you, it is so pretty, oh thank you mom. Yes, I think that she was excited about the snow.

SNOW!!!

Unlike every one else, I did not watch the snow fall from the first flake. I was actually asleep when the snow started in Athens, GA and did not know that anything was happening until I woke up to get ready to go to work. There was already a few inches in the ground and they were urging people not to leave their house. Addison was unfortunately in Altanta with my mom where the snow did not even really stick to the ground.

This is what it was like for me to get to work. The Honda was stuck and all the cars from both directions were trying to go around. It was such a mess!

A picture of my house as I head off to work.
