Trick-or-Treating

This picture is for my dad...a huge Yankees fan...as well as the fan who made carved this pumpkin.

After all the excitement of the week...we finally made it to Halloween night. It rained all day, but the rain let up in order for us to get out there and go out. We went trick-or-treating with my friend Katie and her nephews and neice as we have always done. Addison had a great time with Griffin and Grady.

Pumpkin Carving

We have been really busy lately especially with getting things ready for the party, so we finally carved our pumpkin tonight. A little late, but at least before Halloween night. Addison had a great time and thought that it was really fun!

Halloween

Addison doesn't usually go to school on Friday's, but I sent her today because she wanted to attend the Halloween party with her friends. They were suppose to wear their costume, but I didn't want to send her in her actual costume because I was afraid she might ruin it before trick-or-treating, so I let her pick any outfit from her dress up clothes. She picked Cinderella. Her is a picture of her with some of her classmates after the party.

Halloween Party

I decided that since my friends and I are never in the same place for Halloween and our children are never able to see each other in their costumes that I would throw a Halloween party. Well, it gave me a few more grey hairs as I was planning it and it ended up being a little bigger than I had planned...about 35 children...it was well worth it because Addison and all the children had a great time and I think that it might just have to become a yearly thing!

Fall Festival

Tonight was Addison's Fall Festival at school. It was a nice sunny day after the last 2 times that they had a festival...it rained. Addison had a great time. Her best friend at school, Abrielle, was there so that made the whole thing even better. She got to jump in the bouncy house, eat, and play many games. She had a great time and talks about it all the time when I pick her up at school. She will say..."remember mom when that bouncy thing was over there and I got to jump with Abrielle?" So cute!

Halloween Treats

I started making Halloween treat bags for Addisons class last night and Addison wanted to help. She was a great little helper. She actually made the bags by herself. I just had to place the sticker on the bag and she did the rest. Lets just hope this lasts for years to come!

Washington Farms

I finally took Addison to the pumpkin patch today. Better late than never, right? We actually picked a great day. It tunred out to be a beautiful day, even hot. I let her pick any pumpkin in the patch and she picked these 2 little ones. Can you believe it? I guess we will have to pick another one out to carve.

Our New Addition

We how have one more addition to our family...a Boston Terrior. We already have 2 cats and a fish, so what is one more, right? Addison absolutely loves him and is always thinking about him and where he is and how he is? He has adjusted well and is a good addition.
