Happy 3rd Birthday Addison!

Addison got a box of dress-up clothes from her Granny.

A few of her friends helping her open her presents.

Checking out her new doll house and her Disney princess power wheel.

I love cake!

Blowing out her candle.
Addison's cake, which was acutally made of cupcakes.

Addison, Anna Kate, and Mary Grant

3 yrs ago today, the most wonderful thing happened to me...I brought this beautiful girl into the world. I decided that although it was on a Friday, that I would have her party on her actual birthday. A friend of mine is a member of this pool and so we got to have the party with little cost and actually ended up having the entire pool to ourselves. Addison had a great time and many presents that she is very grateful for.

Christy's Baby Shower

Lucy and Addison both ordered a meal, but of course they both had to eat off the same plate.
The girls helping Christy open her gifts.

The diaper cake that I made for Christy.

Christy will be having her 3rd baby, 2nd boy, in about 2 weeks. She really did not want anything, so we decided to have an essentials shower so that she could get diapers, wipes, shampoo, and other items like that. We had a great time and I think that she got alot of great things.

Swing Set

Addison got a swing set from my parents for her 3rd birthday. My dad and younger brother came to my house 2 days in a row to put it together. As you can see Addison was right in there helping out. She absolutely loves it and I can say that we are out there almost every day swinging and having a great time.

Happy 60th Mom!

We took my mom to dinner at a restaurant that she had wanted to go to, to celebrate her birthday. It was a great dinner and then we went back to her house to open presents and of course eat cake.

Callaway Gardens

Addison remembered picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch last year, so she thought that she was suppose to pick one. She grabbed this one and said that she picked her pimpkin and she was ready to go. Gotta love kids!

I took my mom on a surprise trip to Callaway Gardens today to celebrate her 60th birthday. She really did not want to do anything, but she has always wanted to go and we have lived in Ga for 18 years and we have never been there, so I decided that we would just take a day trip. We had a great time and would like to go back again soon. We also saw the Florida State Seminoles put on a circus and it was absolutely wonderful. They put on the entire circus from acts to setting up everything. In my opinion it was about as good as theRingling Brothers except this was free and we got a up front view. They were amazing on the trapeze as well.

Pianist?

Yes, this is what my daughter likes to do when she is at my mom's house. Is she really playing, no. She just likes to sit at the piano and pretend as if she is. She has to have a book though and she turns the pages at times. Maybe I should think about signing her up for lessons soon.

Pool time again

Addison giving Bowen a swim around the pool.

Addison and Lucy running into the zero entry pool and under the mushroom fountain.

Another day at the pool. We frequently go to my friend Christy's pool to play. This time Julie and her children came with us. We had a good time. Thanks Christy for letting us come and play!

Happy 4th!

Addison and my friend Jennifer and her daughter Madison.

Addison swimming by herself.
(You think that she will be okay with her floaties and inner tube?)

Addison playing with Andrew.

Running and playing in the house. Poor Madison trying to keep up. She will be walking and keeping up soon enough.

How cute are we?

Today we went to my friend Katie's friends house as we did last year. We went swimming and had a BBQ. Addison had a great time in the pool as well as with her new friends Andrew and Madison (children of some of my high school friends). We then went back to my moms house and tried to watch fireworks from the deck and just like last year, Addison hated the fireworks. Of course, she asked for them for the next week.
